QWEST COMMS: Incurs $6M Expenditure at Sept. 30 for Flood Damage

Qwest Communications International Inc., for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2008, incurred repair expenditures of US$6 million over floods in the Midwest, particularly Iowa.

The June 2008 floods caused damage to the Company’s network and other assets.
